Operation Procedure
The underground trash compactor consists of four main components: a sealed underground chamber, a hydraulic compacting mechanism, a lifting system, and a control system.
Waste is deposited into the underground chamber via a ground-level feed port, where the hydraulic system automatically compacts it to reduce volume.
Once the chamber is full, the lifting system raises either the entire compaction mechanism or compacted waste blocks to the surface for truck transport.
The entire system operates underground, with only the feed port visible above ground—resulting in a neater appearance.
