The Underground Horizontal Garbage Compactor has a small footprint and is easy to site plan. It can be equipped with various types of material collection methods such as bagged collection, trash cans, manual carts, and small motor vehicles. It is widely applicable for garbage collection, compression, and storage processing in urban streets, communities, schools, hospitals, scenic areas, expressway service areas, prisons, stations and docks, airports, and new rural construction sites.  Structural Composition

Box body: Made of Q345 high-strength steel, it can hold garbage and withstand compression force, preventing deformation and leakage.

Horizontal push head: Performs horizontal reciprocating movement to compact the garbage, preventing rebound and clogging.

Loading port: Size can be customized, equipped with a cover / sliding door. Garbage disposal channel with anti-odor sealing function.

Back door / tail door: Driven by hydraulic power, with a double-sealing structure. Opens when the box is full of garbage, cooperating with the transfer vehicle to complete the unloading.

Diversion channel: Sloping design at the bottom of the box, made of stainless steel. Collects the filtrate generated during the compression process and guides it to the sewage tank.

 Run Process

1. Garbage Disposal Phase

Manual / Small Boom Truck / Bucket Lifter will deposit the garbage into the ground disposal opening.

The photoelectric sensor detects that the garbage has reached the set height and automatically initiates the compression process.

The lid of the disposal opening automatically closes to prevent the spread of odors.


2. Horizontal Compression Process

The hydraulic system drives the horizontal push head to advance forward, performing the first compression on the garbage.

After the push head reaches the preset position, it automatically retreats to leave space for new garbage.

The "advance - retreat" cycle is repeated, gradually compacting the garbage and pushing it towards the rear of the container.

The filtrate generated during the compression process flows into the sewage tank through the diversion channel and is automatically discharged by the sewage pump.

Pressure sensors continuously monitor the compression force and automatically adjust the pressure according to the type of garbage.


3. Storage and Full-Cart Detection

The garbage continues to be compressed until the cart is full.

The full-cart sensor sends a signal, and the control panel displays the "Full Cart" status and triggers an alarm.

The equipment automatically stops the compression process and waits for the transfer vehicle to dock.


4. Lifting and Transportation Stage

After the transportation vehicle arrives, the operator activates the lifting procedure via the remote control.

The lifting frame smoothly lifts the compressed container to the ground, aligning with the height of the transportation vehicle's compartment.

The hydraulic system drives the rear door to automatically open, and the horizontal push head advances again, pushing the compacted garbage blocks into the transportation vehicle's compartment.

After the discharge is completed, the push head retreats, the rear door closes, and the container is smoothly lowered back to its original position underground by the lifting frame.

The equipment automatically resets and enters the next working cycle.

Hydraulic Design: Utilizes multiple techniques such as bidirectional hydraulic lock and integral design of the cylinder,shunt and collection, pressure feedback design, etc., to prevent the danger caused by sudden burst of hydraulic pipelines and the collapse of the box body.

Electrical Design: Uses buzzers, overpressure alarms, emergency stop switches, current overload protectors to ensure the safety and stability of the equipment during operation.

Structural Design: Uses support roller protection devices to ensure the stability of the equipment during lifting and running, and adopts adjustable pull rods for maintenance, to ensure the safety of personnel during equipment maintenance.
