Horizontal Garbage Compactor is a buried-type waste transfer and processing equipment, mainly used for reducing and compressing the volume of urban and rural domestic garbage and for its transportation. It is one of the core devices for achieving the reduction and harmless treatment of domestic waste.

Product Advantage
High compression ratio: The cross-type compression structure achieves a high compression ratio through bidirectional squeezing in both horizontal and vertical directions. Compared to the ordinary bucket-type with a ratio of 1:2 to 1:3, it can accommodate approximately twice the amount of garbage in the same volume, significantly enhancing the daily processing capacity of a single station. It is suitable for large transfer stations with an average daily garbage volume of over 30 tons.
Continuous operation capability: The design adopts a continuous production line style of feeding, compression, and discharging. It can continuously feed without waiting for the single compression to be completed, and the operation efficiency is over 40% higher than that of the bucket-type. It can also quickly digest the accumulated garbage during peak hours.
Fully sealed and leak-proof: The buried full-enclosed box and the leachate collection system prevent the leakage of garbage leachate from polluting the soil and groundwater at the source. This also eliminates the spread of odors and the breeding of mosquitoes and flies.
Low visual disturbance: Only the feeding port is left on the ground, while the main body of the equipment is hidden underground. This significantly reduces visual pollution to the surrounding environment and is suitable for scenarios with high requirements for aesthetics such as communities and scenic areas.
The cross-type lifting mechanism has strong load-bearing capacity, with a low center of gravity during operation, smooth lifting, low equipment wear, and low noise.

Working Process
Initial standby state
The main body of the equipment is buried underground by default and is in a low-position stationary state; the ground feeding port remains open, waiting for garbage to be placed.
Garbage disposal stage
The household waste is thrown from the ground inlet into the underground compression box, and the waste naturally accumulates in the compression area within the box.
Garbage compression stage
When the garbage in the box accumulates to the set height, the hydraulically-driven compression shovel starts and moves towards the garbage, compressing the garbage to the end of the box; the compression shovel will repeatedly move forward and backward 2-3 times, reducing the volume of the garbage to 1/3 to 1/5 of the original volume. After completing one round of compression, the shovel body returns to its original position.
Full bin determination stage
The equipment detects the push force of the bucket through the "compression resistance sensor". When the garbage is compressed to the point where no further reduction in volume is possible, it is determined as a full bin, and the equipment automatically enters the standby state for transfer.
Lifting and docking garbage truck
The operator activates the lifting mechanism through the remote control, raising the underground compression box to the ground smoothly. Eventually, it aligns with the height of the garbage transfer truck's compartment, achieving a seamless connection.
Discharge and transfer stage
Restart the compression shovel and evenly push the compacted garbage blocks in the box into the compartment of the garbage transfer vehicle; after the discharge is completed, reset the shovel body.
Box reset standby mode
The lifting mechanism slowly lowers the empty box back to its original position underground. The ground feeding port is reopened, and the equipment returns to standby mode, waiting for the next round of garbage processing.

Structure of Horizontal Garbage Compactor
1. Main Compression System
Compression Chamber: A rectangular box serving as the core space for garbage compression. It is made of high-strength steel plates welded together, and its inner walls are coated with wear-resistant material to extend its service life.
Compression Pusher: Inside the chamber, there is a hydraulically-driven pusher. It achieves garbage compression through reciprocating motion, reducing the volume of garbage to 1/3 to 1/5 of its original size.
2. Lifting and Alignment Mechanism
Cross-shaped lifting bracket: A black cross-shaped metal structure at the bottom of the equipment, used to smoothly lift the compressed container from the underground pit to the ground and align it with the garbage transfer vehicle's compartment.
Guidance and Limiting Devices: Ensure the stability during the lifting and lowering of the container to prevent deviation.
3. Feeding and Protection System
Ground Feeding Port: The opening area on the top of the storage container, used for feeding garbage. It is usually equipped with a cover plate or an automatic closing device to prevent the spread of odors.
Safety Guardrail: The warning fence around the feeding port to prevent people from falling into the pit.
4. Hydraulic and Power System
Hydraulic Pump Station: Provides the power source for the compression push plate and lifting mechanism, including the hydraulic oil tank, oil pump, and oil cylinder, etc.
Piping and Control Valves: Connects the hydraulic components and controls the speed and pressure of the push plate extension and the lifting of the bin.
5. Electrical and Control System
Operation panel/remote control: Used to initiate actions such as compression, lifting, and discharging.
Sensor components: Include compression resistance sensor, limit sensor, and infrared sensing device.
6. Auxiliary and Supporting Components
Sunshade/Rain Shelter: The blue-green canopy on the top of the equipment protects the internal mechanisms from sunlight and rain, and also reduces the spread of odors.
Excavation Pit and Foundation: The underground concrete structure is used to fix the main body of the equipment and collect leachate.
Warning Signs: Such as "Be Safe" warning signs, which indicate operating procedures and risks.
