Bucket Garbage Compression Station is an integrated, environmentally friendly waste transfer system, a core component of urban/industrial park waste collection and transportation systems.

Its core functions include automatic tipping and horizontal compression storage. A hydraulic tipping mechanism connects to standard garbage bins, tipping them over for unloading. A hydraulic pusher then compacts the waste, reducing its volume. The sealed enclosure effectively prevents odor diffusion and wastewater leakage. Once full, the station can be transported to a waste treatment plant by hook-lift truck.

Bucket Garbage Compression Station has a small footprint, a daily processing capacity of 30-100 tons, and advantages such as intelligent operation and good pollution control. Workflow

Waste Feeding: The tipping mechanism grabs the waste collection bin, lifts it above the feed inlet, and tilts it to pour the waste into the feeding area of the compaction chamber.


Waste Compaction: Once a certain amount of waste accumulates in the feeding area, the hydraulic system drives the compaction pusher plate forward, applying pressure to the waste, compacting it, and pushing it into the chamber to create feeding space. This process can be repeated multiple times until the chamber is full of compacted waste.


Waste Transfer: After compaction, the unloading gate is opened, and a waste transfer vehicle connects to the unloading port to transport the compacted waste to landfills, incineration plants, or other treatment terminals. After unloading, the unloading gate is closed, and the equipment enters the next work cycle.


Structural Components

Feeding and Tilting Device: Equipped with a hydraulically driven tilting mechanism, this device grabs wheeled garbage collection bins and dumps the garbage into the compaction station. The mechanical arm and hydraulic cylinders of the tilting mechanism are the core actuators, ensuring stable tilting and unloading of the garbage bins.


Compaction Chamber: A long, enclosed box, this is the main space for garbage compaction. It contains a compaction pusher plate, driven by a hydraulic system, which reciprocates along the length of the chamber to compact the incoming garbage.


Hydraulic System: Includes a hydraulic pump, cylinders, control valves, and piping, providing power for tilting and compaction. Precise drive and control of each mechanism are achieved through the pressure transmission of hydraulic oil.


Electrical Control System: Equipped with operating buttons, indicator lights, and a control box, this system controls the start, stop, sequence, and safety protection of various equipment actions. Some equipment may have automated program control functions.


Unloading Door: A sealed door at the end of the hopper, which can be opened after compaction to facilitate the docking and transfer of compacted waste by garbage trucks. It is typically secured by a hydraulic or mechanical locking mechanism to ensure a tight seal when closed.


Support and Moving Components: The bottom is equipped with outriggers or rollers (some models are movable). The outriggers provide stable support when the equipment is stationary, while the rollers facilitate short-distance movement or relocation of the equipment.

Full-area sealing and anti-fouling technology: The silo body adopts a "double sealing strip + anti-leakage collection tank" structure: the feeding port and the tipping bucket's contact surface are sealed with wear-resistant rubber, and the silo bottom has an anti-leakage coating and a collection tank. Combined with the micro-negative pressure design inside the silo, it achieves 100% prevention of sewage leakage and over 90% odor isolation, technically eliminating secondary pollution.


Intelligent integrated control technology: Equipped with a PLC controller and touch screen, it can automatically complete the entire process of "tip-unloading-compression-locking," with a single cycle ≤45 seconds. A built-in fault diagnosis module can monitor parameters such as hydraulic pressure and motor temperature in real time, automatically issuing warnings and recording fault points when abnormalities occur, reducing the difficulty of manual maintenance.

Usage Notes

- Do not compress sharp items (such as glass shards, metal tools), or flammable and explosive items (such as batteries, lighters). This is to prevent damage to the equipment and potential safety hazards.


- For kitchen waste, it is recommended to drain the water as much as possible before compressing to reduce leakage and unpleasant odors.


- Regularly clean the box and the pressing disc to prevent the accumulation of garbage from breeding bacteria.

Matching Processing Capacity and Compression Performance

First, calculate the daily waste generation of your target area. Follow the principle of "leaving a 10%~20% margin" when selecting a model: 30~50 tons per day, choose a small machine with 8~12m³; 60~80 tons per day, choose a medium machine with 18~22m³; over 90 tons per day, choose a large machine with 28~30m³.
