I. Acceptable Items

Construction and demolition waste includes materials generated by construction or demolition, such as concrete, bricks, sand, wood, steel, and tile.

Household waste includes cardboard, clothing, toys, furniture, plastics, metal, household appliances, and a small amount of green waste.

Green waste includes tree trimmings, weeds, branches, wood chips, bark, and a small amount of wood.

II. Prohibited Items

Liquids, including motor oil, paint, poisons, and pesticides, are not permitted in the Skip Bin, even if they are in sealed containers.

Batteries pose a significant risk when placed in the Skip Bin, as they can overheat and cause fires or even explosions.

Asbestos is considered hazardous waste and must be disposed of safely through specialized channels.

Automobile tires are difficult to dispose of and should be taken directly to a tire recycling facility; they should not be placed in the Skip Bin.

Organic materials, such as food waste, are prohibited.

Gas Cylinders: Gas cylinders are highly flammable and must be disposed of separately according to safety regulations.
